Flora, 2022

Tami Aftab (b. 1997) is an English-Pakistani photographer whose work explores intimacy, family and identity through fashion, portraiture and personal projects rooted in warmth and play. Photographed in a Cornish garden as part of a wider project on access to nature, this image of flowers and ferns was shot on film and hand printed in the darkroom. Vibrant yet delicate, it captures a quiet moment of growth, creating a portrait of nature where care lies in the act of paying attention.
