Flowers for Mother Lam, 2025

Kenneth Lam (b. 1993) is a London-born photographer of Chinese heritage, working between Hong Kong and London, whose practice moves between still life, portraiture and prose, honouring the beauty and rituals of Chinese culture and his own heritage. Taken from an ongoing project entitled Flowers for Mother Lam, here Lam photographs flowers from his mother's garden every Mother's Day, a response to grief and nostalgia, capturing the flowers he would have given her were she still alive today.
